Social Procurement is Good Procurement
Western Australian Disability Enterprises

Eight Western Australian Disability Enterprises (WADEs) provide opportunities for people with disability and mental illness. We assist our employees to reach their social and economic potential.

We operate across a wide range of industries covering everything from graphic design, printing, and metal fabrication through to fire equipment servicing, recycling and land management services.

We offer quality products and services at competitive prices, from over 50 locations within the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.

Putting Social Good at the Heart of your business

Doing business with a WA Disability Enterprise is more than just good business – it provides positive outcomes for people with disability and mental illness and real corporate social responsibility benefits for local government customers.

A key WADE priority is not just to create new jobs for people with disability or mental illness but to provide higher value and more varied employment opportunities.

Do more than just recognise the importance of being socially conscious, and embed social responsibility into your business practises.

Working with State Government

Since 2012, WADEs have secured more than $35.6 million in contract arrangements with more than 36 state government departments, enhancing and delivering employment opportunities for people with a disability and mental illness.

The State Supply Commission’s Open and Effective Competition Policy now allows State Government to buy goods and services directly from WADEs without the need to proceed with a competitive quotation or tender process.

The Department of Finance’s Government Procurement division is working closely with WADEs to increase state government supply opportunities for eight WA Disability Enterprises. For further information visit the dedicated web page on engaging with WADEs
