The Hon. Minister for Disability Services, Helen Morton attended the Joondalup Police Academy along with a number of other dignitaries and guests to announce the achievement of more than $21 million in State Government contract agreements being awarded to WA Disability Enterprises (WADEs).

A new Western Australia Police (WAPol) cleaning contract with Intework tipped the total value over the $20 million mark in a momentous occasion for WA’s eight ADEs and the 2100 people they employ.

This support has provided increased job security to hundreds of people with disability and given them the opportunity of diverse and meaningful employment here in WA.
